Skate Bearing Insert for 4mm Shaft
thingiverse
Simple expanding insert to fit a 4mm shaft into a skate bearing. The SolidWorks file is included for anyone to modify as necessary for different shafts and bearings. You may need to tweak the scaling on the part, it should fit fairly tight, and forcing the shaft into the center will cause it to expand and lock into the center of the bearing. Bearing internal diameter is approximately 7.85mm, external diameter is approximately 22mm, and shaft diameter is 4mm. To accommodate longer shafts or multiple bearings on a single shaft, scale the Z distance accordingly. Print Settings: Printer: Delta Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 35 Notes: The part should be printed solid for optimal results. Resolution may not be critical due to the small size of the part, so feel free to experiment and find the best settings for your needs. It's recommended that the print fill solid for a smooth finish.
