Skanna - A Lack-Based Copy Stand
prusaprinters
This is a copy stand based on the IKEA Lack tables and 3D printed parts. It can be used for any purpose which a copy stand is required, but I designed it to be used for DSLR film scanning. Yes, there are really people who go through the trouble to take a picture on film, develop that film, then take another picture of that film with a digital camera. I made this copy stand using parts from the small and normal versions of IKEA's lack table. The vertical section is composed of one small and one normal Lack leg screwed together with the included hardware. If you need the copy stand to be taller, you can instead use two normal sized legs, and cut the threaded rod accordingly. The horizontal section that the camera hangs from is a leg from the normal Lack table. The threaded rod is 3/8"-16 threads per inch, and is cut to 25 inches long. The ball tripod head is held in place with a short 1/4-20 bolt. I drilled pilot holes for all the screws once the parts were in place, since these IKEA parts aren't exactly made of mahogany. Links are below for the parts I got online, as well as in the picture above. Happy scanning!
