This 3D model was originally created using Sketchup 7 and then converted into all other available 3D formats. Its native format is .skp, while the 3ds Max scene was designed with 3ds Max 2016 and rendered utilizing Vray 3.00. The "Grey Lighthouse", a successor to the "White Lighthouse", boasts an improved location, officially known as Skagen Light. The architect behind its distinctive design is Professor Niels Sigfred Nelbong (1806-1871), renowned for his expertise in constructing beautiful Danish lighthouses like Sejeroe, Vesborg, Roesnaes, Hjelm, Hirtshals and Hesseloe, as well as some less aesthetically pleasing ones, such as Romsoe. In 1851, Professor Nelbong initiated the design phase of the tower. The actual construction commenced in 1854 and continued for four years, eventually rising to a height of 46 meters. Until 1962, this tower held the title of Denmark's highest structure.
