Skaarj Warrior
thingiverse
I have used Vanguard3000 skaarj model to remake the original Skaarj Warrior as a sculpting exercise. The creature is supposed to be 8 feet tall or so, so it's a somewhat large miniature. You can scale it down a bit if you want a more human-sized alien. However, if you intend to paint it, it will be difficult if you do so (the face anyway.) Don't even bother with most of the back muscles, they are obscured. The model is fairly detailed so you could print it on a larger scale I guess. I have smoothed the inside of the "hair" so you won't need any supports there. Some skill placing them might still be needed but the model doesn't need that many. The feet and claws/nails were a bit of an issue to get right as the original model has a very simple geometry there, but I think they have turned out ok. If you want to use this as a miniature, I recommend gluing it to a base as soon as you have it printed and cured (I printed it in resin,) then fill any possible gaps on the base with some putty. PS: the printed example I show is, in fact, an older version. Some issues, like one leg being thicker than another and some muscles inserting in the wrong place, have been fixed. There are surely more, and if you encounter any, please tell me so.
