Sk450 quadcopter gopro mounting bracket
thingiverse
This is a simple little mounting plate I designed with Tinkercad to fit on the bottom of my SK450 quad to hold a GoPro arm and camera. The mounting bracket measures 34mm x 28mm by 12mm high, with a 5mm hole in the center. The washer has a 15mm diameter and is 3mm thick, featuring a 5mm hole. I included four fixing holes of 3mm diameter at hole centers of 24mm x 18mm to match the base plate of my SK450. The central bolt is an M5 size, so the nut measures 8mm across its flats. I created a slot in the mounting area's center that is also 8mm to keep the nut captive when tightening (an 8mm wrench will prevent it from spinning and damaging the quad base plate). My design and washer weigh a total of 6g, which you can see more clearly with pictures. The black arm was included with my GoPro, but if you're missing one, there are plenty on Thingiverse already available. You'll find necessary links below: * Lens strap: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:583650 * GoPro Hero 3 light frame: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:212082 The washer is positioned at the arm's center to avoid it being crushed when clamped against the bracket, which you can observe in picture number three.
