The Hobbyking SK450 frame comprises four fiberglass Motor Adapter plates, which are both rigid and lightweight. When utilizing a 3D printer for the plates, ensure to invert the drawing before printing if you desire to attach the smooth surface to the motor base. However, 3D-printed versions may be too flexible; consider milling/CNC-ing from brass or aluminum/aluminium for optimal rigidity. Unfortunately, replacing damaged plates requires purchasing an entire frame kit, resulting in financial and time costs. ABS's flexibility remains untested.
