SK450 16mm carbon arm body
thingiverse
SK450 enclosed body with 16mm carbon arms, features holes allowing SK450 parts to fit seamlessly. Not yet fully completed, the frame is a bit cramped for space, forcing the use of a Pixhawk lite flight controller. A new body has been designed with 12mm wide mounts, providing more internal room for components. The old body had 20mm wide mounts. New motor mounts were added, smaller in size and without leg mounting holes. They also feature a 12mm long hole for arm tubes with a screw hole located 6mm from the end, identical to the new body's design. 5/6/17 The new body is based on the SK450 V3, featuring revised holes for ESCs with a 31mm pitch to accommodate the Racerstar RS20Ax4 V2 20a. Additional holes were drilled for retract legs (40g Servoless Electric retractable untested and waiting) and extra leg mounts were added as a precautionary measure. The FPV transmitter (et200) was repositioned on either side of the retract legs to make room. 27/05/17 Leg parts that utilize 4mm carbon rods have been integrated, using holes originally intended for the retracting legs.
