Size Test Box
thingiverse
I'm tired of wasting various test cubes right after printing, only to take one or two measurements before tossing them aside. So I came up with a test object that lets you fine-tune your steps/mm, extruder settings, filament parameters, and more - all while making something actually useful beyond just being a test print. It's a compact, stackable tray with multiple measurement points for X and Y calibration. I use it to keep track of tiny components like screws, washers, clips, and so on when working on a project. The Excel sheet helps calculate extrusion with adjusted step/mm settings. Take measurements at the indicated spots - both from inside and outside - and fill in the yellow fields; the updated steps/mm will be computed in the green field. **Update 04/01/2020:** I've added a small box for quick test prints.
