SixtyFour Faux Drop Top Cover

SixtyFour Faux Drop Top Cover

This is a faux top cover to complete the look for people who would like to modify their Sixty-Four by removing the roof! Removing the roof is farily simple, we did it using a razor knife and following the chrome trim lines all around the top. Once the roof is removed, if you like, you can glue or tape the interior to the rest of the body, removing the need for the interior mounts on the chassis. This part covers the seam between the rear section of the interior and the body. We affixed it to the body with hot glue, but there are many methods that work well. You will need to print with supports, as the underside is contoured to match the interior. We recommend sanding and painting this piece, or even covering it with your choice of fabric to make it even more realistic! #####Redcat parts on Thingiverse are released under the Creative Commons License Attribution- NonCommercial- ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
