Sixties Tardis (partial remix)
thingiverse
I've reworked this rendition of the 1960's Tardis based on an original by Vargr. My design had symmetry and alignment issues with some parts, so I decided to redraw them and add channels for LEDs and wiring simultaneously. The central hole in the column remains the same size as the original, ensuring seamless compatibility with actuator additions. I've included holes at the top and bottom of the pieces to facilitate alignment using short filament pegs. To ensure a snug fit, it's crucial to orient both parts in the same direction when printing - even minor misalignments can become apparent upon assembly. To recreate the Time Rotor internals, I've also redrawn certain components and included an optional spacer that keeps the time rotor upright, if desired. The original panels have been resized (7.7% of the original size) and repaired to ensure optimal print quality. However, they may require modifications, particularly with regards to longer control levers, which become thin after resizing and can be prone to breakage. For now, this model is designed for 5-1/2" figures.
