Six shooter pen holder (On 3axis milling center)

I engineered a pen holder with the rugged spirit of a genuine six shooter accessory, machining it on a state-of-the-art three-axis milling center. Machining details are as follows: - Job1: I started by turning the pen holder to a precise diameter of 68mm and length of 80mm using a conventional lathe. - Job2: Next, I machined the upper face of the pen holder on the three-axis milling center within a vertical chuck. This involved contouring, drilling, and chamfering the surface with precision. - Job3: Continuing on the three-axis milling center in a vertical chuck, I engraved the letters "GB" onto the lower face of the pen holder, followed by chamfering the edge for a sleek finish. - Job4: Finally, I machined the pen holder on the three-axis milling center within an horizontal chuck. This involved milling six precise pockets along the side, each with a diameter of 8mm. The pen holder is crafted from high-grade aluminium alloy EN AW2017 and features a durable black anodized finish.
