The original design was inspired by a Pinterest gif featuring a pulley/belt leg mechanism (https://br.pinterest.com/pin/28640147608979140/). However, the model was adapted to use only gears. It was modeled using Solidworks 2016 and rendered with Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition. The frames were edited in Virtualdub and saved as AVI/X264 and BMP. MyMP4BoxGui was used to remux the video into MP4 format, while PhotoScape was utilized to create gifs from the renders. IrfanView was employed to edit the renders. The 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files contain animated versions of the model, with the ZIM file viewable on IOS and Android devices via the free Simlab Viewer app. The model is available in multiple formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
