Six Fold Terdragon Amulets
thingiverse
Six-fold terdragons, a fascinating geometric shape, can be easily constructed by stacking six copies of a terdragon and rotating each one around a central overlap point by multiples of 60 degrees. These intriguing objects exhibit a six-fold rotation axis and have even been studied for potential use as broadband antennas. The provided STL files include amulets based on first, second, third, and fourth order terdragons, all scaled to approximately the same size. A larger version of the fourth order amulet is also included. To create these models, the terdragon_3d.scad script from thing:67886 was utilized, while Rotate_60.scad specifically handled the creation of 6two_10_2.stl using second-order terdragons. These intricate shapes are best printed directly on the build platform for optimal results.
