Miniature pneumatic 6 cylinder radial engine modelled on FreeCAD 0.19 from a SolidWorks tutorial (CAD CAM TUTORIAL, Youtube, Jan 2021). This engine was designed by Jürgen Galba, drawings are available on the Inventor Wizard website (section "Blueprints", 24 drawings).Cylinders are placed in the same plane around the crankshaft and the engine output shaft. Connecting rods convert the reciprocating straight-line motion of the piston into a quasi-continuous rotary motion of crankshaft. Crankshaft also operates a valve inside the crankcase so that each piston receives pressurised air at the right time. Valves at the rear of the engine allow air to flow in and out of the system.
