07/17/2021 better, updated, version found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4910913

03/02/2121 - windmill v2a mods
- Added alternative single fan base & nose piece that make use of a 1.5" 5/16 bolt as a replacement for the printed center shaft. The nose piece has a recess that accomodates a 5/16" bolt head, which can be glued in place.
The single fan base center line hole has been resized for the bolt to be threaded in during assembly. It also has a hex recess on the underside for placement of a 1" 5/16" bolt as the pivot point that gets inserted into the bearing on the spike mount.
Various spacers are included to help with fine tuning clearances during assembly.
A new spike mount is included with clearance for the bolt to extend past the bearing on the mount.

12/25/2020
- replaced "collars" files for better fitup, lengthening by 20% so that it isn't necessary to add shims cut from additional collar prints.
- replaced "stake mount" for better drainage to help avoid bearing rust
- added blades with "A" & "B" legends to help with double fan assemblies

9/26/2020 - added "tail fin" variation. Longer & heavier, it shifts the CG a bit towards the rear

10/3/2020 - added components for a double fan version. Hub B rotates opposite of hub A (hub A = original hub). Tail can be glued to "short fork" & attached to wide base through the rear hub. Short nose is alternative hemispherical nose piece. Other alternative parts also added.

10/4/2020 - replaced all files using more descriptive names

A simple six blade windmill that uses 608 bearings for easy movement. The blade thickness and width taper toward the tip. The stake mount is intended for use with a 3/8" all-thread rod. The blade angle is set by the mounting holes on the hub at a 35 degree angle. An alternative build uses two hubs and twelve blades for a double fan build. There willl be one 608 bearing used for each hub and one for the stake mount

It is recommended that you remove the grease that comes in the 608 bearings (wash out with mineral spirits) and use a light oil to reduce friction.

Type A hub & blades are original orientation. Type B hub & blades will rotate opposite of type A.
https://youtu.be/mz7887Csf58 https://youtu.be/Bc7pa0VQmMc https://youtu.be/vO0Lo49FiGU Tinkercad https://www.tinkercad.com/things/7fAxqsANl8L https://www.tinkercad.com/things/hLlcpifnexI
