CHECK OUT MY NEW AND IMPROVED DESIGN, WHICH EASILY ADJUSTS IN WIDTH USING A SCREW http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2179768 This mount holds four bearings and is a great spool filament holder. Inner bearing diameter should be exactly 8 mm to fit perfectly. The custom-made knob measures 8.05 mm in diameter, so it's designed for press-fitting. I had to lightly sand it myself to achieve a flawless fit. This design provides a sturdy construction with just the right amount of friction and a smooth slide. I highly recommend attaching an elastic strap between the two holders to secure them firmly in place. UPDATE: A small loop was added around each holder to facilitate fixing the elastic, replacing the original tiny stick that didn't quite work. Although I haven't printed this design yet, I'm leaving both files up for users who want to try it out now. UPDATE2: I've also created a new rail with 10 mm Ø holes designed specifically for attaching neodymium magnets securely into place. This improvement has greatly enhanced the overall fixture's stability and made filament removal much easier.
