This is a reworked version of a Thingiverse model, link to my Thingiverse upload to view more and see the original model in action.\r\n \r\nThe joint between the head and body was initially fragmented, leaving gaping holes along the sides and a massive void down the middle of the neck. I bridged these gaps by seamlessly merging the meshes and refining the connection for an enhanced surface finish. The model has been solidified to eliminate the hole in the neck, ensuring it prints with your chosen infill settings. Every detail has been meticulously smoothed out, resulting in a file size that's now a manageable 10% of its original size - a staggering reduction from 212mb to just 23mb. I plan to further refine the smoothing of the neck/body connection when time permits, but don't hold your breath for it as it may take a while or never happen at all! Thanks.\r\nTL;DR I merged the head and body mesh, removed the hole in the neck by making the model solid, smoothed out the connection point, and slashed the file size from 212mb to 23mb. Whoohoo, what a massive size savings! (Also slices and loads much faster!)
