This was a debut design effort for me. I utilized Google Sketchup Basic in its entirety. A must-have for any Star Wars aficionado, it features a 100mm x 100mm base that is effortlessly scalable to match your specific requirements. Initially, I relied on memory to craft the first version, which unfortunately lacked detail. In contrast, Version 2 boasts improved details but still falls short in its representation of the bottom edges and border roundedness. I freely admitted it as my inaugural attempt at creating a 3D printing design. On June 22, 15, I expanded the project to include an open-bottomed version with a hollow interior - an essential precursor to creating a transparent model that will house a red LED sith holocron lamp. Its usability remains untested; printability may take several weeks and poses some unknowns about its success or failure. Its instructions indicate straightforward printing; however, due consideration should be given to the fact that my design requires considerable time. A possible expedient is to reduce the infill for a more efficient material use and print duration.
