SITE (Force 8) Filter to 40mm NATO mask converter
thingiverse
Converter for Attaching SITE (Force 8) Filters to Standard 40mm NATO Thread in Masks. I recommend using layers between 0.2 and 0.3 mm. No supports are required. Ensure the bottom of the adapter, which is attached to the mask, is perfectly flat - it seals against the rubber in the mask. If glass beads aren't used, lightly sand the surface to achieve a smooth finish. When operating in hazardous environments, print with increased flow and seal the inside of the converter with epoxy or another sealant. 3D prints are rarely airtight. Test by blocking the installed converter in the mask and inhaling sharply; then do the same with the filter in place. A shorter version is available for the "Fernez by Willson" mask, which might be too short for other masks. I used it successfully in an extremely dusty environment with fine dust and lead particles for over 4 hours without any issues.
