I remember designing this kids chair about six years ago when I found myself stuck in a doctor's waiting room for far too long. A brilliant kids chair caught my eye - it was adjustable, perfect for accommodating different body sizes, so I took some quick snaps with my cell phone and used a ruler propped against the chair as scale references. Back home, I created a model based on what I had observed and eventually made a few chairs for a nearby playschool. They worked out surprisingly well initially, crafted from 12mm plywood, but unfortunately, this material was too flexible for its intended purpose, so I redesigned them using sturdier 22mm plywood, which offered much better results albeit at the cost of increased weight.
