The Sistema lunchbox, popular in New Zealand, comes with varying sizes that all use the same latches. However, these latches are known to break over time, causing the hinge piece to fall off. In the past, this would have necessitated buying a new lunchbox but, with access to a Makerbot printer, you can repair your lunchboxes! So far, I've printed and successfully fitted five replacements for these latches. The design is long, so warping may occur during the first print without a heated platform, but subsequent prints should come out fine after adjusting settings.
