Sirius XM Radio mount for car CD player

This is an attempt to create a custom Sirius XM Radio mount that utilizes the CD player insert from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2338408) combined with the XM radio mount from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2736326) to securely hold a Sirius XM radio (4 screws version). I'm unable to list this design as a remix, but I wanted to share it here. Printing was straightforward - no supports or rafts were required for either part. I printed the mount at 0.2mm with 15% infill to test its strength and found that it is more than sufficient. You can adjust these settings as needed. The files come in two versions: (a) The XM Radio mount is positioned closer to the CD player, which might be ideal for those who have ample dashboard space or want a snug fit. This version retains the original curved shape of the bottom of the mount. (b) In contrast, the second version places the XM Radio mount farther away from the CD player and features a flat design by removing the curved section of the mount. I was dissatisfied with the supplied Sirius XM radio mount that attaches to air vents or other provided mounting options. After researching existing designs, I decided to create my own custom mount using the CD player. This design should be adaptable to various vehicles, as long as they feature a functional CD player - which is unlikely given the prevalence of streaming services. I've successfully printed and utilized both versions for mounting my XM radio, and they work well. However, version (a) was too tight due to the dash above the CD player in my 2003 Dodge Durango, prompting me to create version (b). The slanted position of version (a) may be beneficial or detrimental depending on individual preferences regarding XM radio accessibility. As a relatively new designer, I anticipate that this design is not flawless. Nevertheless, I hope you find it helpful and enjoy using it.
