This thing was created using Tinkercad, where you can edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/gTdK8qUfq7K. With this design, one is able to attach a dovetail clamp to an empty Sirius tripod. The large central hole is precision-sized for tapping with a M10x1.5 metric thread, allowing the mounting bolt to fit perfectly. I opted to tap it instead of printing just the threads due to tolerance reasons, as this is the original bolt that secures the adapter to the tripod. The top part (larger cylinder) features two holes, positioned across center and spaced for attaching an Alstar premium dovetail directly using a couple 1" wood screws. Additional holes can be drilled if needed to match other holes on the clamp.
