Sirius Mount to Programmer Adapter
thingiverse
Used to mount a car firmware programmer (Bully Dog GT tuner for a diesel truck) on a Sirius radio holder, measuring 30x38mm. The holder's narrow groove allows the "HDMI" plug on the back to fit securely in place. Some photos: A view from the rear. Another angle from the back. A shot from the front. A suction-cup mount with an adjustable arm. Instructions To build it, I used a 0.2mm thickness, three shells, and 35% infill settings. A raft was also employed for stability. The printer operated while submerged in Kapton slurry during my listening experience of the soundtrack from Hairspray. In one in-place photo, I hand-inked the Ford F-250 logo with a silver permanent marker for visibility purposes. I contemplated changing filaments for better color distinction, but opted against it since the T-slot mount would then be made entirely out of metal. Although this might look dull when used, that part is concealed from view in practical situations. The design's low-profile allows connection to the programmer's rear plug when secured behind it.
