sketchfab
A bronze statue figure honors Sir Nicholas Winton in a public art space created by artist Flor Kent at Prague's main station in the Czech Republic, unveiled in 2009. The statue pays tribute to the wartime efforts of Sir Nicholas Winton, who earned the nickname "British Schindler" for saving thousands of refugee children from Czechoslovakia during World War II. In September 2009, a private train called The Winton Train traveled from the Czech Republic to Great Britain, commemorating Sir Nicholas Winton's heroic actions.
