Siphon Pump Plunger

Siphon Pump Plunger

I bought this pump years ago for automotive work. And I used it the other day to remove brake fluid. Then I let it sit with brake fluid in it for several hours. When I went to clean it, the plunger disintegrated. And I was left with two decent size pieces of the plunger as can be seen in the picture. I used FreeCAD to design another plunger and printed it in ABS with a raft and tree supports. The result can be seen beside the old plunger pieces. I re-assembled the pump and it worked. And while I'm sure no one else would be dumb enough to leave brake fluid sitting in a plastic siphon pump for hours, I thought I'd share anyway ;^). I've also included the FreeCAD file in case someone needs it. Directions: Be sure to rotate the model 90 degrees along the Y axis before slicing.
