This stately edifice was once the downtown Sioux Falls, SD, Carnegie Library, a testament to millionaire Andrew Carnegie's philanthropic spirit. Generously supported by his vast wealth, this library was one of many public institutions built during his lifetime. As indicated by the inscription above its entrance, it was constructed in 1902. Today, the building serves as the town hall.
