I was fed up not being able to get reliable sized SIO plugs when I needed them. norm8332's plug was sized for printing with ABS plastic, but piep3d's plug was just a little too small, making it loose in genuine sockets and the crimps hard to get into the holes. I went back to the original SIO specs, obtained the mechanical drawings for the SIO socket, and resized the plug down to 1mm less than the size of the socket. Crimps fit the new model perfectly and the plug fits original sockets easily but with barely any slack.
