Sinus Vase
thingiverse
This vase was formed by creating a sinusoidal surface and thickening it to a few millimeters. Then I repeated it in a circular pattern 30 times. They overlapped in the model but had very deep shallow angles where the individual waves met. When printed in vase mode it created very close perimeters. The gaps between the waves are deep enough that they almost look like they aren't connected. It was printed using my spool rotator (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6114566) using Eryone tri-color co-extruded filament. The colors progress as a spiral around the vase - there is only one continuous stripe of each color.
