sinus and square frequency signal generator
thingiverse
This is a test signal generator designed to produce sinusoidal and square waveforms across an incredibly broad frequency range, stretching all the way from 1Hz up to a staggering 125MHz. The project also calls for creating a housing with built-in support, adding an extra layer of complexity to the overall design. It seems the designers had fun building this project! You can get a sense of their hardware by glancing at the photos that feature an open-source four-channel oscilloscope known as DSO203 or DSO QUAD. Instructions for Assembly: To complete this impressive signal generator, you'll need the following components: an Arduino Nano board, an AD9850 circuit (which can be purchased in bulk from Chinese manufacturers), twelve momentary push buttons, an on/off switch, two BNC female connectors for panel mounting, a 9V battery connector, and a prototype PCB board measuring 10x70mm. A handful of cables will also come in handy. Take note that the diagram outlines the necessary wiring configuration, but remember to secure ground connections to your BNC connectors.
