Hi there, Update 07/26/2018: Check out Version 2 with a sturdy mesh base at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3021770. Today I introduce the ultimate drain strainer for your kitchen. The hole is about 1 mm in size, meaning that only water can pass through and clog the sink. Plus, with the smooth puller design, you can easily remove it and dump solid waste into trash without making a mess. I searched online but found many strainers with oversized holes that aren't efficient at all. They're weak against hair and leftover food, despite their filter-like appearance. My drain strainer stands out from the rest. Here's why mine is better: my partner says it's the best drain strainer she's ever used; the filtration system is amazing; and I use minimal material. The key to its success lies in the design. A 20 mm raft serves as a fine filter at the bottom, with 0% infill for maximum efficiency. The inner part is even squeezable. The puller design saves lives by making it easy to remove debris without getting your hands dirty. How to print? Print this strainer with an EXTRA 30 mm raft and layer space of 2 mm. PP and TPU 95A are the best materials because they stick well to the bottom of the puller. Nylon is also a good option, but PLA might require some adjustments in terms of distance between the raft and printing. Check out the picture for reference; I used a 20 mm raft initially but found that a 30 mm raft works better. Print this for your kitchen and give me a thumbs up if you like it!
