I designed this because my father's broken model had a flaw. The single rests on a lip that I've added, making it easy to lift both the puck and the single simultaneously. This design should accommodate most record players. I tested it with my Linn Sondek LP12 and encountered no issues with the puck. However, you might need to adjust the hole in the puck according to your player's pin size. I made mine about 7.1mm large, which seems to be a good fit.
