Single Shot Follower for Savage Striker

This is a single shot follower for the Savage Striker chambered in 22-250 Rem, 243 Win, 260 Rem, 308 Win and other based on the 308 Win case. I have a Striker with the 2 round, staggered magazine chambered in 260 Rem that I use to shoot IHMSA silhouette matches and have always struggled to load single cartridges. This is mainly due to the shape of the stock follower that is apparently not designed for single loading. The new follower replaces the factory follower and makes single cartridge loading a breeze. I provided a hole in the bottom of the follower for the screw that attaches the magazine spring. Since the screw head is blocked by the spring, I found it easier to first start the screw without the spring in place to cut the threads in the hole. Then remove the screw and attach the spring. A narrow screwdriver makes the job easier.
