This project features a single-plate clutch system composed of three components: an engine flywheel, a friction disc known as the clutch plate, and a pressure plate. When operational, the flywheel rotates, causing the pressure plate to turn since it is connected to the flywheel. The friction disc is sandwiched between these two parts. Upon depressing the clutch pedal, the clutch disengages. This action pushes the pressure plate away from the friction disc, creating air gaps among the components. Consequently, power transmission through the clutch is halted.
