Single Piece Pump - Enhanced - 6mm OD 4mm ID Silicone Tube
thingiverse
Check out this cool DIY project based on the awesome thing from Thingiverse http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13032 Use a flexible silicone tube instead of rigid PVC, with an outside diameter of 6mm and an inside diameter of 5mm. The trick to making this work is all about fine-tuning the wall thicknesses to get a good balance between hinge movement and stiffness, not to mention input and output valve locking mechanisms that only let go when they're good and ready. What you'll notice right away is that it allows for some serious pressure buildup before those valves release, and when they do, they self-lock on the way back out. It's a game-changer! Expect improvements in performance thanks to its better tolerance for dimension inaccuracies during printing, improved material resistance to creep over time, and of course more pumping power overall. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!
