Single level mazes
thingiverse
I was looking for something simple and stable that my grandkids could have fun with, so I came up with three basic mazes. The "simple maze" is larger in size (from the original 5x5 shown) to make it easier for a three-year-old grandchild to use. It requires an 8mm or 5/16 inch diameter ball bearing and a square acrylic cover, which can be glued into place after sliding it in, measuring 66-66.5mm. The larger mazes are ten or fifteen columns and rows big. I have designed two or three versions of each size so far. They both require a small ball bearing, five mm or 3/16 inch diameter. The ten by ten maze requires an acrylic cover seventy millimeters square, while the fifteen by fifteen maze needs one measuring one hundred and five millimeters. More intricate mazes are likely to be developed in the future.
