For the hull wood plaster, self-adhesive glass fiber net and epoxy resin are used. The name Krakenas Motorbirbis (something like "Kraken Motorbuzzer" in English) was given by my son last summer during our vacation in Cyprus. He really wanted to take some toy RC boats from a game at the local marina, so I promised him I'd make one. I'm a bit of a lousy father, yet I always keep my promises, so here it is. For the quick builders - this isn't a ready solution and it won't ever be a finished product. If you intend to make one, be prepared to spend hours, days, or even weeks on it. I used mostly 3 mm plywood for most of the project, with just a few parts made from 4mm plywood to make them stronger (the bottom center piece and two side pieces along the axis). I glued everything together with PVA glue, covered it with old paint, and then applied epoxy resin. Next came some plaster. Sanding, fine coating, painting, and lacquer are still to be done - literally weeks of work ahead.
