Single Handed Pants/Trousers Button Tool
thingiverse
Due to a recent Multiple Sclerosis relapse, I've lost significant use of my left arm and hand. Needless to say, buttoning my pants has become an arduous task. After researching how amputees manage this everyday activity, I discovered a tool similar to the Button Zipper Assist Device available on Amazon. Intrigued by its potential usefulness, I decided to create one myself. To be honest, it's the most practical object I've ever printed. I'm still unsure about using it one-handed, given the flexibility of the loop, but it works remarkably well for me. I printed this device with generic TPU filament, utilizing a 3-perimeter wall and 30% gyroid infill.
