Modified and used in combination with two files, a custom setup has been created to fit standard gang boxes, making wall mounting effortless. Furthermore, after adjusting the size, the unit was hollowed out to facilitate the installation of two pairs from a cat 5/6 cable, enabling the provision of power for both a candle and/or an Arduino device for advanced control purposes. Additionally, this configuration is also sufficient to support the connection of a 100M Ethernet plug in case such need arises. The base of the unit features a 10MM peg that effectively secures any component in place (as seen with the integration of the Candle mount). These photographs barely do justice to the exceptional outcome of this project, far exceeding my initial expectations. I strongly advise against tackling electrical work if one is not fully qualified, and by no means shall I be held liable for any harm or damage incurred as a result of unqualified efforts.
