Here is the wall plate I designed for a specific digitizer and touch screen setup, which has not been tested yet. The digitizers and touch screens in question can be found at the following eBay links: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262136737704 and http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/302012882940. I wanted to create a touch screen LCD that functions similarly to a cell phone, with the digitizer firmly attached to the frame. However, most pre-made touch screen LCDs are not suitable for this setup because their glass is identical in size to the LCD itself, requiring it to be slightly larger in order to seal properly within the wall plate. I have yet to print and test the design, nor have I determined whether a larger touch screen will work effectively with the smaller LCD. It's likely that calibration software will be necessary to match the touch screen to the LCD. Once I obtain all the required pieces, I plan to conduct thorough testing. If anyone else attempts this setup or has experience working with similar combinations of touch screens and LCDs on Arduino, I would appreciate any suggestions or feedback they may have.
