Single Extruder - Multicolor, RaspberryPi case
thingiverse
The redpeppr case design appealed to me, but I desired a Raspberry Pi logo too. Thus, I modified it to be multicolored. The outcome was impressive! When transporting my printer, the Z-endstop became misaligned, necessitating a new case with improved settings. To ensure accurate centering before slicing, position the models correctly and use four alignment dots. For the infill, print at 0.5 mm first layer height in your chosen color (I used red). After removing the dots, switch filament to the second color (white for me), and avoid homing the printer for optimal alignment. Print the cutout at 0.45 mm first layer height to enhance adhesion, as slicer may incorrectly identify bridging. Be cautious during removal to prevent logo detachment. Lastly, print the bottom part from Thingiverse (#30572) or select the screw-hole variant.
