This is the single extruder version of my custom extruder mount. I had purchased an extruder mount, but my prints just weren't turning out right because my extruder kept slipping off track when printing. I really like the linear bearings on this unit - they stay in place without needing to be secured with zip ties, and the belt tension stays tight and is mounted directly to the bottom bearing.\nTo make this design work, you'll need one thing first.\nThe Reprap Prusa i3 3D Printer Parts X Axis Printing Head X Metal Extruder Carriage is required. \nYou can also purchase a set of linear bearings based on the dimensions provided in the attached PDF file.\nGood luck with your project!
