Single Edge Razor Case
thingiverse
This is a case/holder specifically designed for a single-edge razor, measuring 39x20mm (1.53″ x 0.78″). The case securely locks the razor inside while still allowing it to be easily removed and reinserted with minimal force required. I found that a razor makes an excellent tool for removing sticky prints from a bed. Unable to find a suitable case, I designed my own. After creating approximately 20 prototypes, I finally developed one that meets all of my requirements. The model is straightforward to print, taking about 45 minutes to complete with a 0.2mm layer height. The finished product weighs around 5g and yielded the best results when printed using PETG filament with a 60% infill. I would greatly appreciate any feedback you may have, so please feel free to share your experience in the comments. **Note:** It is crucial that the razor be easily insertable (and removable). If excessive force is needed to accomplish this, there may be an issue with the print quality. Using too much force can lead to injuries! **Update (2019-05-11):** An updated version for ABS material has been added, as the original model prints too tightly when made from this material.
