I had to connect a ribbon cable to a 2x8 IDC connector; printed this to keep the individual DuPont connectors organized; surprisingly effective.\r\n\r\nA longer version is still pending, but the concept was for the pins to align with the edge at the bottom, requiring insertion from the front.\r\n\r\nSide edges have a gentle slope of 2 degrees to simplify easy insertion and secure fit. Insert all male pins into the female IDC and use it as a guide to position wires in the adapter. (or purchase a separate 2x8 DuPont housing)\r\n\r\nUpdate: additional sizes, including 2x3 and 2x5, were added for other projects; step files are available if anyone wants to modify the design to fit different dimensions, all on a 0.1" grid \r\n\r\nUpdate2: someone requested a panel-mounted version.
