Single Drive Mod v4

Single Drive Mod v4

thingiverse

Designed as a mod for the Winter One SFFPC case. Allows for the attachment of a single 2.5" SATA SSD drive to the front panel, using the 4 available mounting points. Contains 2 parts laid out for efficient printing (minimized head movement) and smallest possible bed footprint, with a clean print that shouldn't require any supports. #Printing: Print both halves at 1:1 scale, 75% infill, with the smaller side vertical. Requires a 93 x 60mm bed, with at least 20 mm height in order to properly print. It should be possible to make on even tiny printers. Use a tough filament/material. Can be printed using FDM or SLA, as long as you plan to mount a 2.5" SSD. Holes are designed for M3x0.5 6mm Button-head screws, and you will need 8 of them. #Further Modifications: Consider modifying this further and using tougher materials (I highly recommend glass filled nylon or something similar) if you plan to mount a platter hard drive, as those are *considerably* heavier than SSDs, and generate some vibration that could fatigue less durable materials.
