Single dose hopper for Bezzera bb005 Coffee Grinder

This is a single dose hopper for the Bezzera BB005, converting it to a single dose grinding capable machine. Mine has a dead space of around 1g of coffee, which is acceptable. The weight ensures steady preload of the coffee on top of the grinding disks and prevents “popcorning”. Hardware needed:– 2 times M4 x 12 mm socket head-screw– 2 times M4 nylon Lock-Nut– Steel Balls to fill plunger or other heavy material (lentils, rice or sand should also work)  How to install:– Check that the dimensions of your mill match with mine (see last picture for dimensions). Only then print Hopper, Plunger and Lid (PETG works good, no Support needed) and fill Plunger with heavy material (e.g. steel balls). If your printer offers color change (e.g. X1C) you can print the grind size marks in white, like I did.– Insert two M4 Locknuts into the hexagonal cutouts of the hopper from the inside. They are intended to provide threads to fasten the two M4 screws in order to apply pressure against the “neck” of the grinder. The flat bottom of the nuts (opposite of the nylon part) is supposed to touch the bottom of the hexagonal recess for the nuts (meaning the this flat side faces outwards).– Adjust your grinding size to what you usually use and remove Screws from original hopper to then pull out the original hopper. Without changing grind-size, push on new hopper and tighten the two screws. This will ensure that the 0 mark of your new scale is your usual grind-size. You can adjust this also later. The two screws lock onto the neck of the grinder and securely keep the new hopper on. Draw a line in front of the 0 mark to serve as a reference when changing grind size.  How to use:– Weigh the amount of beens you need (e.g. 15g) and put them in the hopper. Put in plunger on top to act as a weight.– Then turn on mill until all the beans are ground up (exact time does not matter). Towards the end start rotating the plunger a bit, to move beens from the side into the grinder (thats what the spiral pattern at the bottom is for).– Do your usual puck-prep and enjoy your coffee :)  Remarks and other modifications: I moved the staring button to the top of the mill and also added a second “short” timing mode to the mill. this is fully optional and not necessary for this mod. Also I changed the nozzle of the grinder, which is also optional.
