Single Cylinder Air Engine, Small
cults3d
Single Cylinder Air Engine Smaller Edition is the smaller sibling of my previous Single Cylinder Air Engine design. With a reduced total displacement compared to its predecessor, this engine runs longer on balloon power but at the cost of delivering less torque. Due to its compact size and cranked shaft assembled in place, it requires even more precise sanding and/or filing and meticulous assembly steps to reach peak efficiency. Be patient during the printing, preparation, and assembly process. This air engine is featured in this project: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2870929. The CAD animation is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaUMeYkTEoo. As usual, I may have overlooked a file or two, so don't hesitate to ask questions if you encounter any issues – I make mistakes, after all. Designed using Autodesk Fusion 360 and sliced with Cura 2.3.1, this model was printed in PLA on an Ultimaker 3 Extended.
