Bendrexl crafted an ingenious AA to D cell adapter, but unfortunately, I didn't have a brass fastener on hand. Fortunately, I had a stash of loose screws that could be repurposed for the task. I uploaded the file to Tinkercad and made a few tweaks, swapping out the square hole for a 3mm screw hole. Now it's ready for assembly. To finish the project, simply insert a 3x12 mm screw into the end of the adapter so that its tip touches the tip of the AA battery.
