Single (1x) chainring bolts
thingiverse
Chainring bolt and nut models are designed for use with single-specific crank drivetrains, such as track or single-speed setups, or standard narrow-wide chainrings on double/triple cranksets. For double cranksets paired with a single chainring, a spacer may be needed to move the ring closer inboard. The required spacer size depends on the chainline of your crankset, likely ranging from 2-3.5 mm. Wolf Tooth's standoff measurement varies between mountain and road cranksets: 3.5 mm for mountain cranksets and about 2 mm for road double cranksets. A Solidworks model based on KsCustoms' Inventor design can be used as a reference. The design takes inspiration from Wolf Tooth's chainring bolts, featuring an M8 x 0.75 thread (as seen on Park Tool's Basic Thread Concepts page). These bolt and nut models are shorter than their double/triple counterparts, measuring 6 mm instead of 10 mm. They require a 4 and 6 mm hex key for driving, eliminating the need for any special spanner.
