Singer Cam Creator for Type A and D Cams

This OpenSCAD project creates authentic Singer sewing machine flat cams of types A and D. Type A Fashion discs are utilized in numerous early models: 224U, 226U, 244, 258, 288, 306, 316G, 319, 328, 338, 348, 358, 360, 368, 478, 588, 675U, 875, 972, 974, 1995, 3130, 3140, 3150 and many others. Type D Flex-stitch discs are used exclusively in certain machine models that support stretch stitches: 438, 518, 538, 6548, and possibly other models. These machines utilize both cam types. All definitions for the 7 Singer Flexi-stitch (type D) discs, along with 11 Fashion discs (out of 33 patterns manufactured by Simanco), are included in this project. It is also possible to create custom pattern cams, a 2-step zigzag disc serves as an example. These discs can still be found on the second-hand market at reasonable prices; however, it's generally recommended to purchase originals. If you're in a tight spot or need a custom pattern, this project can help you out.
